This policy covers the LWD Advogado website and its contact channels. Data and purposes

The site has no forms, newsletter, user accounts or proprietary advertising or analytics tools. Search runs in your browser; language is recorded in the page URL. Email, telephone or WhatsApp contact voluntarily provides details such as name, contact information and message content to assess and answer your enquiry. Without those details a reply may be impossible; browsing remains available. Avoid sensitive documents in a first enquiry.

Lawfulness and retention

Law 22/11 requires specified purposes, proportionate data and a lawful basis for each processing activity. Depending on the enquiry, consent, requested pre-contractual steps or legal obligations may be relevant. Browsing is not consent to marketing. Data should be kept only as necessary for the purpose and applicable obligations. No retention schedule for enquiries or technical logs has been confirmed; this policy therefore does not promise fixed periods or automatic deletion.

Providers and transfers

Hosting is provided through ChatGPT Sites and may involve technical data such as IP addresses and access logs. Google Maps is embedded only with permission. LinkedIn, WhatsApp and bibliographic sources are external links with their own policies. Contracted providers, processing locations, log retention and any international transfers still require confirmation. Compliance is not presumed: Law 22/11 and applicable APD formalities must be checked.

Exercising your rights

Subject to Angolan law, you may request information and access, correction or updating, deletion or blocking where applicable, and object to processing. Email the address above with the relevant right and data; do not initially attach identity documents. Proportionate identity verification may be necessary. You may also contact Angola’s Data Protection Agency (APD). The site makes no automated legal decisions or visitor profiles.

Confidentiality and open networks

Professional communications are subject to applicable lawyers’ confidentiality duties. No open network offers absolute security: transmitted data can be intercepted or misused by unauthorised parties. Agree an appropriate channel with the firm before sending especially confidential material. This policy will need revision when outstanding operational details are confirmed or features change.
